Delete your VirtualDrive account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. You do not need to contact us to do it from the app, and you do not need the app to ask us by e-mail.
In the app or on the website
- Android app: Profile → Your Data → Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm.
- iPhone / iPad app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- Website (virtualdrive.us/app): Profile → Your Data → Delete Account.
Without the app
E-mail support@virtualdrive.us with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, from the e-mail address registered to your account (or include that address). We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it, and we reply within 30 days.
What is deleted, and when
- Your account is deactivated as soon as you confirm. You are signed out and can no longer use it.
- Within 30 days it is permanently deleted, together with all your files, folders, photos and videos, share links, profile and settings. Until then you can ask support to restore it.
- We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment and tax records, for up to 7 years.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it there first: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
